Whats the deal with iPod batteries? I haven't heard good things.

When fully charged they can last 8-12 hours but they do tend to wear. Some die out really quickly but if you are still under warranty you can take it to an Apple store for a no fuss replacement. You'll lose your songs but just resync from Itunes. My shuffle went erie so I took it to the Genius Bar and they gave me a new one right out the box with nothing more than my signature to sign the other shuffle as broken.

Batteries are probably the biggest problem with iPod's aside from their problems freezing up but you can replace these batteries without buying a new iPod.

To make sure they run longer, keep them at a decent temperature. I have my iPod hooked up with my car so at night I would just leave it in there rather is be scorching hot or freezing cold and it really took a toll on my battery and iPod itself. So be sure to take it back home with you where ever you go so it can stay at a decent temp. It's a good idea to not charge it until its almost completely dead too. It's the "don't feed a stuffed pig" mentality that will shorten the life of your battery if you recharge it all the time.

I have a sony cybershot camera that is not working. I charged the battery and I can't get the camera to open. Where can I take it for repair in Easton, Pennsylvania l8042 and is it worth it?
